The founder of 3i Partners, Craig built one of Canada’s largest privately held security solution providers. Over the course of a fifteen-year period, the company grew from a staff of one to over 3,000 employees and was acquired in 2013.
Craig is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s OPM 48 and has been recognized as the E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year and one of Canada’s Top 40 under 40.

Tom joined 3i in the fall of 2015 as Managing Partner with a mandate to re-orient the firm’s traditional investigative focus towards an intelligence-driven risk advisory business.
Before joining 3i, Tom was an executive at TD Bank where his remit covered organizational design, strategy and governance. Prior to TD, Tom was a Director in Corporate Compliance at Sun Life Financial. Prior to his entry to the private sector, Tom served in the regular force of the Canadian Forces for 13 years, where his focus was information operations and counter-intelligence. Tom’s military experience includes operational tours of Bosnia and Afghanistan.
Tom has an undergraduate degree from RMC, competed graduate level studies at the Fuqua School of Business and holds several industry credentials, including CISSP, CFE, and CPP.

Paul is an accomplished business executive and entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience in media, finance and politics.
He spent a decade as a leader in the broadcast and new media industry as CTVglobemedia’s Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs. He also held senior positions in public service, including with the Government of Canada as Director of Operations to Prime Minister, Jean Chretien, and as a senior aide to two Premiers of Newfoundland and Labrador, Clyde Wells and Brian Tobin. Mr. Sparkes also co-founded Difference Capital Financial Inc. and currently serves on a number of private and public boards.

A thirty-four-year veteran of the Toronto Police Service who served with distinction in Major Crimes, Fraud, Plainclothes, and Criminal Investigations, Don leads the firm’s Investigations practice.
He is an active member of the International Association of Fraud Crime Investigators, and previously oversaw investigations across Canada for TSM, 3i’s former parent.
Throughout his career, he has provided evidence at Provincial Criminal Court, Provincial Bylaw Court, and City of Toronto Bylaw Courts. Don has several policing-related accolades, and was awarded the 2005 Award of Recognition from the Korean Community of Toronto.

Charles is a seasoned, results-oriented executive with extensive experience supporting organizations in managing country risk and conflict disruptions; building international portfolios; garnering stakeholder support; and strengthening brand reputation.
During his career, he has consistently exemplified strong analytical and research skills, complemented by the ability to forge cross-cultural partnerships to stay abreast of financial, socio-economic, political, and security trends across the globe. Charles has broad cultural knowledge that has been acquired from substantial on-the-ground monitoring within 70+ countries across six continents. He is also an author of publications focused on political risks/opportunities which help readers to make smart investment decisions in challenging markets.
He currently holds a Master of Arts degree from King’s College London.
Head of Predictive Analytics

Goran joined 3i in January 2018 as Head of Predictive Analytics. With a background in nanotechnology and biomedical research, including stints at the Canadian Space Agency (spacecraft engineering) and Sick Kids Foundation (primary research), he brings a strong quantitative bearing to 3i’s traditionally qualitative problem sets. As such, Goran’s team’s work adds a new and exciting dimension to our risk advisory practice. Goran has a Master of Applied Sciences from the University of Toronto and an undergraduate degree in Applied Science from the University of Waterloo. He oversees the firm’s Co-Op program.
